Lost in Love | Engagement Session with Sam & Faith
This gorgeous couple are walking down the isle to say their vows this fall.
You can tell by those longing gazes that the pair can hardly wait to say, "I do."
Sam works for the Canadian Military as a Military Optical Technologist. Faith just completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and is currently studying hard for her Licensing exam.
The couple met in the modern way—swipe right for true love.
Faith laughed that she initially signed up along with a friend because her friend didn't want to use Tinder alone, but she was the one who found the perfect guy, while her friend continues to swipe.
This engagement session felt like a fairy tale.
Every pose I suggested just worked. Sam and Faith just naturally fell into each other's arms, gazed into each other's eyes.
There were moments I wondered if I should just step away and let them have a moment alone... but I stayed and took pictures instead.
Sam and Faith live in Edmonton, so I drove up. These photos were taken in Victoria Park, which is just south west of the Provincial Legislature Building).
The light was perfect. There were no weird lurkers in the background. Everything went great!
Our only complaint was that the mosquitos were terrible! But, we battled through.
This shot wasn't planned but it turned out to be cute so I included it. Sam started off wearing his hat and then we decided we should take some photos without it, unfortunately it left quite a big red mark across his forehead. Here, Faith is trying to cover it up. We ended up taking a series of shots with Sam's back to the camera until it faded away.
